The lambs on our farm are usually born outside late spring from our small flock. These graze on our own grass lays of either old grass meadows or clover based lays where limited fertiliser and chemical use is maintained.

Unfortunately we cannot always keep up with the demand, so when needs must we work closely with our neighbour and specialist sheep farmer Jim Fletcher. From here we can get two types of lamb - the best tasting being the Romney. This is a very hardy, slower growing lamb often grazing the RSPB Ouse Washes at Welney, Cambridgeshire. This is conservation grazing.
