Conference Pears — From Our New Orchards

Our Conference pears are grown as part of our diversification project and our new orchards — something we hope will become really special for the farm and the wider community.

Although the orchards are still in their early stages, we’re delighted to now be able to offer our chemical-free, naturally grown Conference pears.

Every purchase helps support the farm and, in turn, helps us invest in the future of these orchards.

Our hope is that, over time, the income from the orchards will help keep the farm farming through difficult years like this one, while allowing us to regenerate, expand and develop the orchards for generations to come.

What to do with 5kg of Pears?

Our Conference pears are perfect for much more than simply eating fresh. They’re great for baking into crumbles and cakes, making chutney, jam or compote, poaching, roasting or cooking alongside pork and other savoury dishes. They can also be used for desserts, smoothies and even homemade pear sauce. So why not make the most of the season and buy a larger box? At 5kg, you’ll have plenty to enjoy fresh while also having enough to cook, bake and experiment with — making them a great way to enjoy the harvest throughout the season.
