Bramblebee Farms pigs are typically Gloucestershire Old Spots sold under their own brand of Bramblebee.

We chose this breed for 3 reasons

  • Hardiness
  • Eating quality
  • And it's known as the orchard pig quite fitting for an Apple farmer.

Their diet contains low protein pig nuts as well as waste farm veg which varies with the seasons from cauliflower to pumpkins and apples.

Delicious and Great Quality

I recently returned to eating meat after being vegan for 6 years. They are really knowledgeable and I really like their ethos. I wouldn’t ever buy supermarket meat. I will be coming back next month to restock my freezer!

Slow cook

Cooked this joint on a bed of leeks & carrots in a slow cooker for 6 hours.
meat was so tender it was impossible to carve- just melted in the mouth - wonderful meal.
