Bramblebee Old Spot Pork Loin on the Bone
A traditional pork roast with bags of flavour and beautiful crackling potential!
Enjoy our delicious Bramblebee Old Spot Pork Loin on the Bone, a wonderful choice for a Sunday roast or a special family gathering. Left on the bone for a traditional presentation, this cut makes a lovely centrepiece and delivers the rich flavour you'd expect from properly farm-reared pork.
At Bramblebee Farm, we breed our own pigs, typically Gloucestershire Old Spots, under our own Bramblebee name. We chose this traditional breed for three important reasons: hardiness, eating quality and its connection to orchards. Known as the orchard pig, it's a particularly fitting choice for us as apple growers!
Our pigs are raised outdoors in family groups and fed a diet of low-protein pig nuts from a local mill, alongside farm vegetables that might otherwise go to waste. Depending on the season, their menu can include everything from cauliflower and pumpkins to apples from our own orchard.
As a slow-growing traditional breed, our Old Spots take longer to mature, helping produce pork with a wonderful depth of flavour that brings back the taste of traditional farm-reared meat.
Perfect for a traditional roast
Roast until tender and juicy, with beautifully crisp crackling. Serve with golden roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and plenty of gravy for a proper farmhouse Sunday lunch.
